This short text is about flowers, fruits and ways, mainly because today I took a lot of photos of roads and plum tree flowers.
Every day is a new day. You wake up, and you see the sun up in the sky, or maybe just the light that comes from the sun. Let’s imagine you have a nice day, with bright sun and clear sky. A new season has begun and the nature seems to be alive again. You might be happy for it, but don’t take it for granted. It didn’t appear there because of a chance. It was God who brought a new life in all the plants. He takes care of his creation, and has a special place for it so that everyone can admire it.
‘The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.’ Psalm 19:1
‘For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.’ Colossians 1:16
These flowers are beautiful but their journey is not over at this stage. Soon they will become fruits. That’s what their purpose was from the beginning. However, not all will become fruits because only a small percentage has the right conditions to grow big.
I also said I will talk about roads. There are roads at every step we take, if you think about it. These are the decisions you take. It might feel like a bifurcation every time you think what to do. When you decide to spend a day by yourself or meet your best friend. Likewise, when you chose not to work on the project you started a long time ago but instead you watched another episode of your favourite TV show. Let God lead all your ways, and you will be sure to make fruits. I still remember the biggest decision I took, and the words that I heard were that there is only one way ahead, and that was following Jesus.
‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’ John 14:6
‘He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.’ Psalm 23:3
‘Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.’ Psalms 86:11
